Padua's Gino Allegri City Airport can be reached easily
by car, using either the local roads or from the A13
(Uscita Padova-Sud / Padua South exit) or
A4 (Uscita Padova-Ovest / Padua West
exit) motorways. The airport offers a total of 130
secure parking spaces. For short stays (up to one
hour), cars may be parked in the bays in front of the
control tower.
Thanks to the airport's location - within the City of
Padua - it is well-served by public transport. Buses and
coaches leave at 15-minute intervals, traveling
all over the city, including routes to the pedestrianized
zones of the city center. (APS bus routes 12 and
6).
The airport can be reached very easily from the train
station by car or bus, since it is situated less than
10 minutes' drive away.
The taxi service runs from 8 am until the airport closes
for the night. The taxi rank is located outside the
main exit.
In accordance with regional legislation, carriage may
only be offered by registered taxi-drivers who have been
issued with the relevant local authority permit.
